Exact Change Game

I don't know about you, but every time book fair rolls around, I realize that our students need LOTS more practice in money math. I think this library center will help!

Here's a cute FREE printable center from Ginger Snaps.

Students take turns marking a number. That number is added to the player's total. Each player is trying to be the first to get a total of exactly $1.

After you print and laminate the game board, you'll need to provide markers (unifix cubes, checkers, whatever you already have) and scratch paper and pencils.

I can't wait to try this next week! I may hand out bookmarks to students who show me how they reached the sum of $1.
